Audition Requirements:
VOCAL SIGHT READING
- Vocal sight-reading for 2026 is F Major, 4 measures long
- Will start and end on the tonic
- Will include all pitches of the diatonic scale as they fit the range of the voice part
- Will include steps and intervals of a third
- Could include whole, half, quarter and eighth notes, including rests and dotted rhythms
- Bass sight-reading is in bass clef.
AUDITION SELECTION
You Do Not Walk Alone by Elaine Hagenberg
Recording will begin at m 89. Students will sing from m. 92-135
CHANGE FROM LAST YEAR: Students will sing with all parts minus their track. Students singing Soprano should sing S1. Students singing Bass should sing B2.
STUDENTS WILL AUDITION WITH THE VOCAL ACCOMPANIMENT TRACK ONLY!
